Hello, friends and family!  We have decided on an adventurous honeymoon! Instead of being waited on while sipping cocktails on white sand beaches, we have decided to drive ourselves around the Irish countryside in an economy car the size of a small garbage can.  This will prove to be very interesting (and by interesting, we mean dangerous and possibly life-threatening), due to the presence of a manual transmission and the requirement that we drive on the left side of the road.

We will start out in Dublin, work our way to four bed-and-breakfast inns in various areas, spend a night in a castle in County Donegal, and finally head back to Dublin. If we are successful, we will visit many beautiful areas and see many sights, including the Cliffs of Moher, Trinity College library, the Book of Kells, The Temple Bar, Dingle Peninsula (it's okay, you can giggle, we think it's funny, too), and most importantly, the Guinness Beer Factory. We are also going to try to smuggle a leprauchan back home in our carry-on luggage.

If you are interested in giving us a wedding gift, but the spatula set on our other registry just doesn't speak to you, you've come to the right place!  We thank you in advance for your considerate and loving gift, mainly because if we don't get the hang of the whole driving thing, we may never make it back to write thank-you cards.

Slainte mhaith!
